I’ve been living in the UAE for almost 12 years now and this was the first summer I spend inside the country. So I took advantage of that, and carried on discovering the beautiful hotels in the UAE and their lovely pools and beaches in order to cope with the heat and also enjoy my summer. This weekend my staycation was at the Jumeira Zabeel Saray. I heard amazing things about it from my parents and took their advice right away!
The Spot: Jumeira Zabeel Saray
First of all let me tell you about my room. My superior twin room was for AED1,010 for one night including breakfast (rates differ during weekdays). I fell in love with the turkish-themed decorations and furniture, literally every detail had a sense of the ottoman empire. The bathroom was very luxurious as well. The bathtub was separated from the rain-shower and the bidet. Unfortunately, my balcony was overlooking the grass area as there was no more sea-view- rooms available, and was on the first floor so didn’t have any luck with the view.
The pool area was stunning, the staff were so helpful once you walk in they bring you fresh towels and help you find the perfect place to sit. Best thing about their infinity pool is that it’s facing the sea, so you can easily relax in the pool overlooking the amazing beach view!
There are many restaurants and bars to choose from, but I’ve only tried the Sultan lounge. When you first enter the lobby you can’t help but notice the Anatolian designs of the restaurant. There’s an indoor and an outdoor seating areas, the indoor seating is mainly for a chilled dinner with your family and may be an afternoon tea with some YUMMY cakes! The outdoor area is overlooking the pool and the beach, AH-MAZING view, where you can enjoy Shisha, drinks and food!
For dinner at The Sultan Lounge, I had super tasty fried noodles with chicken and vegetables, and a cheesecake for dessert.
Overall, my stay was so nice, the staff member made sure that I was having a comfortable stay. Will definitely be going there again!
