One of the advantages about living in Dubai is that there’s a place for every taste. If you’re a party animal and you enjoy crowded places with cool DJ headlines, or if you enjoy sipping on mocktails in a quit place, even if you just want to watch  movie under the stars, you will find something that perfectly suits your mood. As an anti-crowded-places gal, who very much enjoy sitting in a nice place with music where I can enjoy my food and drinks and also be able to make a conversation with my friends without having to shout because the music is too loud, this post will be dedicated to few of the places I discovered in Dubai which I could literally go to everyday.

• Jumeirah Islands Glasshouse

Pros: The Clubhouse (or The Glasshouse) is overlooking the lake which directly gives the view a ten. The appetizers and snacks are delicious and can replace the main course. The music is very chilled, and every Thursday a singer gives a live performance. Food, shisha and alcohol available. Kids are allowed.

Cons: Since it’s inside a compound, The Clubhouse’s last order is at 10am for food and 12am for drinks.

You can get one year membership at the clubhouse where you could use the health club for Dhs7,000. Or get a couple’s membership for Dhs9,000 or a day pass for only Dhs100 and Dhs150 on weekends.

• Reform Social & Grill

Pros: Great atmosphere. Outdoor BBQ. Delicious english food and drinks (they serve breakfast which is a plus). Also pork is available for non-muslims. Indoor and outdoor seating, where the outdoor is surrounded by greenery. Kids are allowed.

Cons: Nothing.

Where: The Lakes.

They have cinema night every Tuesday at the BBQ area. Where you can watch a different movie each week while munching on different yummy snacks. 

• The Beach House

Pros: The restaurant is set by the beach of Anantara The Palm. One of the best spots for seafood. Food, drinks and shish available. Nice music. Indoor seating is also available.

Cons: A little overpriced.
