How would I be a staycation connoisseur if I didn’t review Waldorf Astoria?! Located on Dubai’s magnificent Palm Jumeirah and surrounded by the blue water from the gulf, the view of the hotel is enough to take your breath away.
The Spot: Waldorf Astoria Dubai The Palm
My Experience
Few weekends back, I checked in at the Waldorf Astoria for a weekend getaway. I have just gotten back from Egypt and I needed some pampering time to refuel my energy for the upcoming weeks. The hotel is big, with 200 meters of private beach, 2 swimming pools (one for the family & the other for adults), and plenty of restaurants to choose from including the famous Social by Heinz.

One of the services that makes the stay at the hotel more special is that you can have your personal concierge on call 24/7. Whether you need assistance with dinner reservations, packing help or organizing an engagement proposal, the hotel makes sure your concierge is available for you anytime of the day.
My room was very pretty, I had the deluxe room, which was spacious and decorated in shades of ivory, sand and turquoise. There was a dressing room, balcony, fancy spacious bathroom with rain shower, a bathtub and a small TV! Although The balcony was big and had a comfy couch, it was too hot and humid for me to sit outside, I could imagine how nice it would be when the weather starts to get better!
I loved the little couch, after a long day at the beach I would sit there and watch TV for hours before heading out for dinner. And if you are as petite as me, you can easily take a nap on the couch or use it as an extra bed!

I would definitely give this hotel a ten for everything; the room, hospitality, interior and food!
If you feel like splashing a couple of thousand Dirhams, you can book the superior Royal Suite, which is considered the largest in Dubai. The suite has its own private elevator, kitchen with butler service, a TV room, piano, and a huge terrace.
