Review: Friends Avenue Cafe

To beat the Monday blues, I have partnered with coffee connoisseur Lara “@Coffeeandchaos” to visit different coffee-shops in Dubai and give your our feedback.

This week we visited Friends Avenue Cafe, scroll down to see our experience.

Location: Friends’ Avenue Cafe, JLT cluster T

This hidden gem located in JLT is one of the coziest venues I’ve been to. There is a small outdoor terrace overlooking the lake on the left side once you walk in, and an indoor seating area. We took advantage of the good weather and while everyone was sitting outside we went inside the shop and snapped a few pictures of the beautiful place which gave us retro feels.

We decided to take advantage of the lovely weather like everyone else and sat outdoor. I went for an iced Café Latte and Lara ordered an Americano. The service was wonderful and the staff was super friendly. Our coffees were on our table 7 minutes after our order. Mine was cold and had just the right amount of coffee, and the Americano was perfectly blended and very tasty. And being a kid at heart, I loved the presentation of my Latte and how it came with a cute yellow and white straw!

The menu doesn’t only include coffees, it has different types of tea, fresh juices, healthy smoothies besides the breakfast and lunch menus.

Looking at the prices of the items in the menus surprised me as they were really cheap. Both our coffees were for just Dhs38, and it came and a cute little box (shown above.)

Overall, it was a lovely experience and I highly recommend Friends’ Avenue especially for rendez-vous with your bestie!

They have cake decorating classes once a week. Follow them on Instagram to see the other exciting events they have.
